Yvette received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Yvette began her teaching career in 2010 teaching in all dance styles, specializing in tumbling. She is best known for touring with Grammy award-winning singer Miguelito, dancing professionally for Norwegian Cruise Line, dancing for Cristina Quinones and opening for recording artist Tyga at the BET Pre-Party Show. Yvette's most recent acting job was with Telemundo in the telenovela Terapia De Amor. Performed at the House of Blues, Universal City Walk and the Staples Center. Her experiences in the industry only make her more motivated to share all of her knowledge and experience with the new upcoming generation of performers! She plans to teach her students as many tools as she can to help shape them into their best selves!
Upon moving out to Los Angeles, she signed with Go2Talent agency under dance and commercial division. Through hard-work and perseverance, Crystal has already accomplished a few of her dreams by working with some great artists in the industry such as Cardi B, Chris Brown, J. Cole, Remy Ma, Busta Rhymes, Shawn Wayans, and more. She made one of her biggest appearances on television working for a tribute to Michael Jackson on Lip Sync Battle on Paramount network. Crystal takes each step with gratitude and only sees this as the beginning of the many accomplishments she will achieve! “ If you give up on your dreams, what left do you have”
From Auburn, Al., Marykate moved to Atlanta to pursue a dancing and acting career. In 2014 she was accepted into the scholarship program act gotta dance Atlanta where she trained up to 30 hours a week. During this time she became the youngest member of the prestigious project 7 dance company under the direction of the Cherrise Wakeham. As a project 7 member, Marykate performed in an Award winning piece at the capezio A.C.E Awards in NYC and the show "S.H.E" in long beach, CA/ATL. She has also performed "Carnival" with Dana Foglia Dance, Jon Carr's "Mutual Core", And as Joelly In the theater show "Ghosts of Rock". In 2015 Marykate discovered a passion for teaching and choreographing. She had the honor of teaching/choreographing for many dance studios in the east and west coast. Marykate specializes in jazz, contemporary, stretch/strengthening, hip hop, and improv. In 2017 Marykate was offered dance assistant job for force dance tour where she has gotten to work along side Blake Mcgrath, Ricky Palomino, and Cherrise Wakeham. She also accepted to train in the menses intensive scene study, and the character study intensive. Since training at the Robert Mello Studio she has been cast in several short films such as "untapped- with you","KUDZU," Faces, & "the door". Marykate recently moved to Los Angeles, CA and was accepted in to Dana Foglia's 6 week and 3 month program. Marykate is excited to continue pursuing film, dance, fitness, and working as a teacher/choreographer.
Grace is the ballroom and yoga teacher here at L.Y.T.E. Dance Academy. For seven years she has been practicing her technique in various styles of dance and traditional yoga. For the last two years, she has taught dancers of all levels in various competitive and social dance settings. She knows over twenty different styles of partner dancing, and can show you how to work out, while looking and feeling like you’re on Dancing with the Stars. Before joining the L.Y.T.E. team she taught with the Arthur Murray Dance Centers, and competed with her students in classic ballroom style competitions. While teaching dance, she has also begun to teach vinyasa style yoga. After honing in her own craft for the last seven years, she is ready to show you how to deepen your yoga practice through the alignment of the breath with movement. Above all, Grace believes that you should leave the studio feeling better than when you walked in. With a caring and judgement free environment, she will show you how to start showing yourself love, kindness, and the appreciation for a strong body and mind.
Adazjia Brent was born and raised in Sacramento, Ca and has always been surrounded by the dance community since she was a little girl. She had the opportunity to watch her mom train under some of the best in the industry such as Phil Tayag and Joe Larot, founders of the Jabbawokeez, she had the opportunity to watch not only her mom but her whole family teach and upbring young dancers who you may see performing with your favorite artist Being in a family who has always had such a huge imprint in the dance community Adazjia has been inspired to embark on her on adventure in the Dance World. She has receiving training under some of the best dance studios around. Lead dance teams, productions, and just like her family, has also taught and mentored many other dancers who are now embarking on their own dance journey. As her love and passion for dance continues to grow each and everyday, she hopes to use her gift to inspire others all around the world and show the world what she’s got.
Derrique Daniels is an up and coming choreographer/creative director and dancer. Derrique has traveled to many countries such as China, Switzerland, Amsterdam, Ukraine and Russia to dance and/or teach. He has trained with Chapkis dance for 13 years and was an assistant director before he moved to Los Angeles to further Pursue his dance career. Within his career Derrique has danced on NBC world of dance, America’s got talent, the Late Late show with James Cordan, Coachella with Childish Gambino and many more. Derrique wants to have every job he can with dance such as dancing/creative directing /choreographing for tours, music videos, award shows, movies and even Broadway as well as owning his own dance studio one day. With his success Derrique will lift all financial burdens off of his mother so she is able to retire soon
Bridget began dancing at the age of 2. Growing up training in styles such as: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Modern, and Contemporary. She’s been teaching for 13+ years and is so passionate about helping her students grow! She’s traveled all over the world studying and teaching all these forms of dance. From performing at Disneyland, to dancing on shows such as New Girl, to choreographing and dancing in commercials, music videos, and live stage performances, Bridget has a heart and a drive for creating beautiful pieces of work to share with the world. She believes in helping each individual student grow into the artist they’re meant to be!--
A native of a Chicago, Illinois, Desmond Allen moved to Los Angeles in 2016 pursuing his dream of dance. Soon after his move, he booked his first industry job as a dancer for Mariah Carey in her Las Vegas Residency. Since then, he has performed with Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Teyana Taylor, Fox’s Empire, Fifth Harmony, Pattie Labelle, Gladys Knight, and Sharaya J. Desmond has years of company and competition experience as well, having joined groups like “Academy of Villains” & “The Puzzle League.” He continues his legacy of inspiration, integrity, and development by being a teacher at LYTE Dance Academy, where he has taught and coached almost 4 years!--
